D1 GROUPS

We are designed to be in community. No one should have to do life alone. Here at D1Naz, we want to provide as many opportunities as possible for you to connect with others, live life in community, and be a part of the Body of Christ.

For group options, we have Sunday small group classes offered before service at 9 AM, and then various small groups available throughout the week on different nights. Check out some of these options below or contact the church through info@d1naz.com for more information.

Sundays

• Weekly 9 am to 9:45 am at the Church

  • Agape - John Prien leads a weekly devotion from the Nazarene publication that covers a variety of subjects each quarter.

  • Coffee Chat Theology - Marc Abla leads a lively discussion of contemporary topics and how they relate to our faith.

  • Exploring the Bible - Erech Pierson, Matt Schwenk & Ray Standerwick take turns leading a study through each book of the Bible.

  • Teen Bible Quizzing - Sara Goodner leads teens as they learn and memorize scripture, so they will always have the word of GOD with them.​

• Weekly 10 am to 11 am at the Church

  • Intercessory Prayer Group - Jan Abla leads a group of prayer warriors, each week one group member will pray during and for our main worship service for the needs of our ministries , our congregation and our communities. ​

Mondays 

• Monthly at the Church​

  • Women's F.I.T Class - Brandee Allen leads a 20 min exercise followed by a devotional on healthy eating and living, 1st and 3rd Monday, from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm, come out for some exercise, community and devotions.

​​wednesdays

• Weekly 10 am- 12 pm at the Church

  • Ladies' Clothes Sorting Team - Delrene Berg leads the Helping Hands team in sorting and hanging clothes that have been donated to our Helping Hands Ministry and then enjoy some snacks and a time of prayer. ​​

• Weekly 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the Church​

  • Discipleship Class - Jim Braundmeier leads a discussion for those new to faith in Jesus, new to the Nazarene denomination. 

  • ​Ladies’ Bible Study - Brenda McClure leads a discussion through a study on the Christian Movie "War Room".​​​​​​​​

  • Parenting Small Group - Pastor Christen leads a discussion and support group to provide encouragement and prayer for parents with children newborn to graduating high school.  Meeting every other week, come join and share in your parenting journey.

Thursdays ​​​​

• Monthly

  • Ladies' Book Club - Jan Abla hosts, on the third Thursday of the month, a book club in her home from 7 pm to 9 pm.​

  • Young at Heart (YAH) Seniors Small Group - Jean Hector hosts, on the first and third Thursdays of the month, those who are "Young At Heart"  for devotions, prayer and bingo from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.​​

Saturdays

• ​Monthly​

  • Family Small Group - Matt & Michelle Schwenk host a small group in their home, twice a month from 6 pm to 8 pm.

  • Game Night - Bart Harris hosts, on the 4th Saturday of the month, game night at the church in the Grove from 6 pm to 10 pm.​​

  • Men's Breakfast - Jim Braundmeier hosts, the first Saturday of the month, a Men's Breakfast for Men to help each other grow as Godly Men - Proverbs 27:17 "Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another."
