D1 GROUPS

We are designed to be in community. No one should have to do life alone. Here at D1Naz, we want to provide as many opportunities as possible for you to connect with others, live life in community, and be a part of the Body of Christ.

For group options, we have Sunday small group classes offered before service at 9 AM, and then various small groups available throughout the week on different nights. Check out some of these options below or contact the church through info@d1naz.com for more information.

Sundays

• Weekly 9 am to 9:45 am at the Church

  • Agape - John Prien presents devotions from the Nazarene publishing company that walk through the Bible each quarter.

  • Coffee Chat Theology - Marc Abla provides an opportunity to be a part of an open discussion on various topics relating to our faith.

  • Teen Bible Quizzing - Sara Goodner leads teen's as they learn and memorize scripture, so they will always have the word of GOD with them.

  • Teen Bible Study - Rob Urquhart leads teen's on a journey through the bible as they learn to understand scripture.

  • Walk Through the Bible - Erech Pierson, Matt Schwenk & Ray Standerwick take turns leading a study through each book of the Bible.

• Weekly 10 am to 11 am at the Church

  • Intercessory Prayer Team- Led by Jan Abla, one person on the team prays over the worship service and over any prayer requests in the Prayer Chapel. ​

• Weekly 10 am- 12 pm at the Church

  • Ladies' Clothing Team - Delrene Berg leads the Helping Hands team in sorting and hanging clothes for the pantry and then gathering to pray. ​

• Weekly 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the Church​

  • Parenting Support - Jackie Farr leads an open discussion group where parents can share and support each other ( every other week ) 

  • ​Ladies’ Bible Study - Brenda McClure leads a discussion and book study with other ladies walking through the challenges of this modern world.​​

  • Ladies' Lunch - Twice a month Linda Gruenewald hosts a luncheon at various restaurant's staring at 12:15 pm.

Thursdays ​

• Weekly

  • Prayer Gathering - Jan Abla hosts a weekly Prayer Gathering in the Chapel at the church 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm

• Monthly

  • Book Club - On the third Thursday, Jan Abla hosts a book club in her home from 7 pm to 9 pm.​

  • Young at Heart (YAH) - On the first and third Thursdays, Jean Hector hosts at the church those who are "Young At Heart"  for devotions and bingo from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.​​

Saturdays

• ​Monthly​

  • Family Small Group - Twice a month Matt & Michelle Schwenk will host a small group in their home from 6 pm to 8 pm.

  • Cracked Pots - Once a month Bill & Deb Hancock and Brian & Brenda McClure will host in their homes an opportunity to come together and discuss ways to care for our community from 5 pm to 7 pm.

  • Game Night - On the 4th Saturday Bart Harris hosts a game night at the church in the Grove from 6 pm to 10 pm.
